Recently I did more urban exploration/photography and had another eye opening experience. To start the day we climbed to the top of the 18 story building, Lee Plaza Hotel. The building was built in the 20s and of course has been abandoned for years now. Although it was a hotel, it actually was home to many people who made their permanent residence here many years ago. The building was of course in rough shape but offered many vantage points for great views of Detroit's sky line as well as the surrounding area. It could take a few trips to really explore all these floors and likely the group will be going back again, I am sure. Check out the photos and links to learn more about the day in pictures, history of the building or the group that went there.
