Which Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk Will You Be Attending?

September 27, 2012

On Saturday, October 13th I will be attending my first Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk along with more than 22,000 other photographers completing over 1,200 walks around the world.  The walk is in its 5th year of existence and has grown by leaps and bounds each year.  The walk that I am participating in is going through the abandoned Packard Plant in Detroit.  I will be joining Allana St. Laurent, Eric Tillman and Jesse Welter as they take the group through areas of the abandoned plant.  I have been to this location in the past on other urban exploring trips but it is always worth going again because it is so large and things can change from week to week.  49 other photographers and I will be on the walk for a couple hours and then head over to get some lunch and talk photos…  It’s bound to be a great day….

Although this walk is full there are many more in the local Detroit area and surrounding communities of Metro Detroit.  Check out the website dedicated to the walk and how to find one for yourself.  You will not be disappointed…

Help support the charity, Springs of Hope Orphanage in Kenya, who will benefit from the sale of these T-shirts…

Look for images from the Packard walk here after the event

I will also have a gallery of images from the walk on my website under the Urban Exploration link on my home page.
