Decay of Eastown Theater a Photo Essay

Recently I was approached by a Contributing Editor, Shenyah Webb, for Nailed, an online magazine.  She inquired about my images from the Eastown Theatre on VanDyke and Harper in Detroit, MI.  It is an abandoned theater that once was a jewel in the city and hosted some of the biggest rock bands in history during its time.  Shenyah wanted to do a photo essay with my images as the backdrop to tell a story for what has become of this great venue.  I gladly accepted the offer and you will find the article by clicking here and going to Nailed’s site.

Nailed Magazine is an arts and culture magazine that features candid writing, interviews, letters, photography, poetry, fiction, comics, and more. We are interested in passionate, raw, and challenging stories that are not typically told in online zines.

I am confident I will work with Nailed again and look forward to it as it's a first class e magazine and offers a different twist to reporting and feature stories.  You should check them out in the future.
